US help Pakistan's military help

The United States has announced to stop all types of military assistance being given to Pakistan.
The US State Department says that it is being done because of its 'failure to end extremism' from its land in Pakistan.
The statement issued by the US State Department states that military help will remain suspended until Pakistan takes action against Haqqani Network and Afghan Taliban.
In a tweet made on the first day of the New Year this week, US President Donald Trump had accused Pakistan of lying and terrorists extremists.
Trump had said that Pakistan is pursuing extremists despite taking "billions of dollars of dollars from the US".

Not only this, the Trump Administration also stopped the assistance of the State Department from $ 255 million to be given to Pakistan.
Speaking to the reporters, US State Department spokesman Haider Navert said, "Today I am confirming that we are blocking the military aid to Pakistan till the government of Pakistan is involved with the Haqqani network and the Afghan Taliban It does not take the decisive step against other extremist groups. "
They said, "We believe that these groups are destabilizing the region and targeting American soldiers. America is going to suspend military aid for Pakistan."
